	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
2	Remove center paneling (1)		AR68.30-P-4600W
3	Remove bolts (3) from equipment carrier (2)	Rechargeable drill/screwdriver

4	Remove bolt (4) and swivel equipment carrier (2) back far enough until nuts (6) are accessible		*BA54.21-P-1006-01A
5	Disconnect electrical connector (5) from electric parking brake control unit (N128)
6	Unscrew nuts (6) and remove electric parking brake control unit (N128)	Make sure that no electrical lines are pinched when inserting the electric parking brake control unit (N128).

7	Install in the reverse order
8	Perform initial startup of electric parking brake control unit (N128) using Star Diagnosis	When installing a new electric parking brake control unit (N128).	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
