| 3 | Unclip purge line (8) on charge air cooler (4) and set aside | ||
| 4 | Detach coolant hoses (6, 7) at the charge air cooler (4) | AR09.41-P-1311-01AL | |

| 5 | Detach coolant vent line (1) at the charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connection (10) on temperature sensor upstream of charge air cooler (/4) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connection (12) at pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve | ||
| 8 | Unclip subharness (13) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit on charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 9 | Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit with bracket and place to one side with connected lines | ||
| 10 | Detach mounting plate (11) | ||
| 11 | Remove screw/bolts (2, 3, 9) on charge air cooler (4) and remove charge air cooler (4) to the front from throttle valve | *BA09.41-P-1002-01U | |
| 12 | Detach air intake hose (5) from charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 13 | Pull charge air cooler (4) up and out | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 15 | Check low-temperature circuit of engine cooling system for leaktightness | AR09.41-P-1010CD | |
