| 1 | Remove upper engine cover (1) | ||
| 2 | Remove engine air intake duct (2) | ||
| 3 | Unfasten hose clamp (3) and detach air intake pipe (4) on air filter housing | ||
| 4 | Detach vent line (5) on air intake pipe (4) | ||
| 5 | Detach wide open throttle operation vent line heater element (R39/2) on air intake pipe (4) | ||
| 6 | Unclip engine wiring harness (6) at air intake pipe (4) | ||
| 7 | Unfasten hose clamp (7) and detach air intake pipe (4) at ATL and remove upwards | ||
| 8 | Detach compensating ring between air intake pipe (4) and ATL on ATL | The installation of the new compensating ring should be take place in the cleaned fitting of the air intake pipe (4) and not on the fitting of the ATL. The inside diameter of the compensating ring as well as the fitting of the ATL must be wet well with lubricant before assembly. |
