Remove/install battery - AR54.10-P-0005W

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1 Disconnect ground line (1) from on-board electrical system battery (G1)   AR54.10-P-0003W 
2 Remove positive terminal cover (2)    
3 Disconnect positive line (3) from on-board electrical system battery (G1) Nut, battery line to negative terminal/positive terminal *BA54.10-P-1012-01C 
4 Disconnect vent hose (4) from on-board electrical system battery (G1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check that the vent hose (4) is routed without kinks.  
5 Unscrew nut (5) and take off retaining bracket (6)    
6 Unscrew nut (7) and remove bracket (8)    
7 Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1) from engine compartment IMPORTANT Use supporting bracket (9).  
8 Install in the reverse order
