Control unit for electronic selector lever module, task - GF27.19-P-5138-02R
Transmission 722.6 in model 230 except code (428a) steering wheel shift buttons
The electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) receives digital and analog input signals, actuates various components or transmits information to various control units via the Controller Area Network bus class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C).
The selector lever positions and touch shifts carried out are detected in a non-contact manner by means of optoelectronic switches. A photoelectric barrier is closed or interrupted each time the position of the selector lever is changed.
Analog input signals:
- Selector lever position
- Transmission mode switch (S16/5)
- Touch button +/-
- Steering wheel gear shifter MINUS (S110/1) (models 230.474/479)
- Steering wheel gear shifter PLUS (S111/1) (models 230.474/479)
- Voltage supply (circuit 87)
Analog output signals:
- R/P locking solenoid
- Gate lighting (circuit 58d)
The following information is received via CAN-C.
Instrument cluster (A1):
- Circuit 58 dimmed
Traction systems control unit N47
- Right rear wheel speed
- Left rear wheel speed
- Set braking torque
Electronic ignition switch control unit (N73):

- Stop lamp feedback
- Circuit 50 engine start switch (circuit 50)
- Circuit 15 voltage supply switched UB (battery voltage) (circuit 15)
- Message from drive authorization system (DAS)
The following information is transmitted via CAN-C.
Instrument cluster (A1):
- Selector lever position for gear display (A1p12)
