- The oil sensor (oil level, temperature and quality, B40) are read in by the ME-SFI [ME] control module (N3/10). The "oil level", "oil temperature" and "oil condition" (oil quality) values are sent to the CAN engine compartment in the form of a message by the ME-SFI control module (N3).
- The coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) is read in by the ME-SFI control module (N3/10). The temperature value is sent to the CAN engine compartment in the form of a message.
- The sensor for the crankshaft position (L5) is read in from the ME-SFI control module (N3/10). Via sensor impulses, the ME-SFI control module (N3/10) calculates engine speed and sends a corresponding message to the CAN engine compartment.
- The four wheel rotation signals (L6/1, L6/2, L6/3, L6/4) are read in by the SBC control module (A7/3n1). The SBC control module (A7/3n1) sends the four wheel speed signals via the ESP control module (N47-5) to the CAN engine compartment. The instrument cluster (A1) receives these messages and calculates the vehicle speed and traveled distance based on this data.
