General 

The Active Service System is operated via the reset button centrally located on the instrument cluster (A1), and via the forward and reverse pushbuttons (S110s1) as well as the system selection pushbutton (S110s3) of the multifunction steering wheel.

Service display can be called up by driver 

Display engine-oil level 

IMPORTANT For more details: refer to the "Engine-oil surveillance function" document

Reset ASSYST after an oil change (oil change reset) 

NOTES Reset ASSYST (oil change reset) only after changing the oil! Where possible the oil change reset should be conducted with the aid of the Star diagnosis tool!

IMPORTANT An inadvertently conducted oil change reset can only be revoked with the aid of the Star Diagnosis tool.
