	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion caused by escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or metal spatter due to short circuit. Risk of burn injuries caused by short circuit. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or absorption of lead over the skin or orifices	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves and clothing and safety glasses with side guards. Do not place any conductive objects on the battery and avoid any short circuit from battery positive to ground. Only fill liquid battery electrolyte (diluted sulfuric acid) into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1	Disconnect ground line on the starter battery		AR54.10-P-0003SX

3	Remove reinforcement at rear of rear shelf (3)		AR64.10-P-1200SX
4	Remove bracket (4) and pull out on-board electrical system battery (G1) slightly		*BA54.10-P-1027-01C
5	Disconnect ground line (1) at negative terminal of on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Pay attention to tight seating of the ground line (1) otherwise damage to the negative terminal and electrical system can occur.
6	Disconnect positive line (2) from positive terminal of the on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Pay attention to tight seating of the positive line (2) otherwise damage to the positive terminal and electrical system can occur.
7	Detach vent hose from on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Observe kink-free routing of the bleed hose otherwise the venting of the on-board electrical system battery (G1) is not guaranteed.
8	Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1)	If the on-board electrical system battery (G1) is replaced, the defect on-board electrical system battery (G1) must be disposed of properly. Refer to: ↓
		Dispose of battery	OS54.10-P-0001-01Z
9	Install in the reverse order
