	Removal
1	Connect quiescent current retention unit		*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
2	Disconnect ground cable of battery
3	Remove Comand	A sticker with designation of the software status "Q14 and higher suitable for dynamic guidance" is present on the right side of the unit. On units with Q13 and lower it is necessary to update the software to status Q14 with the update CD. Units in vehicles as of 1.8.99 have the Q-status Q01 or Q02. These units are the new generation and therefore always suitable for dynamic guidance.
4	Remove foot support in passenger footwell
	Install
5	Install dynamic guidance wiring harness		AN82.61-P-0001-01M
6	Retrofit traffic data memory		AN82.61-P-1000-04M
7	Reassemble vehicle 4 to 1
8	Perform software up-date from CD	Only on vehicles with COMAND software status less than Q14
9	Start up and check for proper function	Code dynamic guidance on vehicle with STAR diagnosis
