Location
The following antennas, if equipped, are embedded in the rear window between 2 panes of glass:
- VHF
- AM
- TV
- RRCL [FZV] (radio remote central locking)
The TV antennas are suitable for the reception of both analog and digital TV stations.
Task
The rear window antennas are electrically connected to the rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12).
The rear window antennas have the task of receiving and forwarding the following radio signals, depending on the equipment version:
- VHF
- AM
- TV
- Vehicle Information and Communication System (VICS) VICS in FM band
- RRCL [FZV] (radio remote central locking)
- Keyless Go system authorization signal
