Location
The PAS [GAS] and special signal system control unit is located under the left trim in the luggage compartment, on the partition wall between the passenger- and luggage compartment.
Function
The PAS [GAS] and special signal system control unit actuates the following systems depending on the vehicle equipment:
- Panic alarm system (PAS)
- Intercom system
- Special signal system
The request to the standard components are forwarded over the special vehicle multifunction control unit (SVMCU [MSS]) (N26/14). The PAS [GAS] and special signal system control unit is connected over the special vehicle multifunction control unit (SVMCU [MSS]) with the interior CAN for data exchange.
