Level adjustment switch, component description - GF32.31-P-5109SX

MODEL 221 with CODE (489) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension) up to Model Year 8 

The level adjustment switch, with an LED for function indicator, is integrated in the cockpit switch group.

The level adjustment switch is designed as a push/push button. It is therefore a button which changes its control state by the number of operations.

The driver can choose between normal level (NN) and higher level (EN1); each time the button is pressed this affects the change to a different driver requirement.

The cockpit switch group in which the level adjustment switch is integrated is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) via the upper control panel LIN.

The level adjustment switch has two switch positions:

Operating the level adjustment switch increases the ground clearance of the vehicle and the LED in the level adjustment switch lights up.
