Replace boot from suspension strut - AR32.25-P-1020SY

MODEL 216, 221.0/1 with CODE (487) Active Body Control (ABC)

	Removing
	It is to be ensured that during assembly the hydraulic line (8) from the suspension strut (40h, 40v) is not damaged
	Do not use any sharp-edged or pointed tools during assembly, otherwise damage to the boot (4) or suspension strut (40h, 40v) occurs
1	Remove the respective suspension strut (40h, 40v)	Front axle	AR32.25-P-1017SY
		Rear axle	AR32.25-P-1016SY
2	Clean suspension strut (40h, 40v)
3	Remove the clamp (1)
4.1	Detach clamping ring (2)	Front axle suspension strut (40v)
4.2	Detach cable strap (3)	Rear axle suspension strut (40h)
5	Detach boot (4) downwards (arrow)
	Install
6	Pull new boot (4) onto the upper support on the suspension strut (40h, 40v) and fasten clamp (1) using clamp pliers	Align the ear of the clamp at 180° to the hydraulic line (8) so that the hydraulic line (8) is not damaged.

7	Install the respective suspension strut (40h, 40v) however do not bleed the ABC system yet	Front axle	AR32.25-P-1017SY
		Rear axle	AR32.25-P-1016SY
8	Pull the boot (4) onto the lower support in the area of the spring cup	The boot (4) must not be twisted otherwise it will be damaged.
9.1	Mount clamping ring (2)	Front axle suspension strut (40v)
9.2	Mount cable strap (3) using pliers	Rear axle suspension strut (40h) Align the lock of the cable strap (3) in direction of travel.
