	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary. Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.	AS00.00-Z-0001-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1	Reduce pressure in suspension strut (4) with STAR DIAGNOSIS
2	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100SX
3	Remove rear wheel
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
4	Remove cover (1) from spring control arm (2)
5	Tension rear spring (3)		AR32.20-P-0200-06MB
6	Detach exhaust rubber mount from flange connection and lower exhaust system	Engine 275	AR49.10-P-7100SX

7	Detach suspension strut (4) from spring control arm (2)		*BA32.25-P-1005-04L
8	Detach spring control arm (2) from wheel carrier (5)	The rear spring (3) can only be removed together with the spring control arm (2).
8	Detach spring control arm (2) from wheel carrier (5)		*BA35.20-P-1002-01A
9	Detach spring control arm (2) from rear axle carrier and tilt downward		*BA35.20-P-1001-01A
10	Pull bolt (6) out of wheel carrier (5) and remove spring control arm (2) with rear spring (3)	Clean the spring control arm (2) at the contact area.
11	Release tension on rear spring (3) and remove from spring control arm (2)	Insert the rear spring (3) into the spring control arm (2) and tension. After replacement of rear spring (3): ↓	AR32.20-P-0200-06MB
		Check and correct headlamp setting.	AP82.10-P-8260SX
12	Install in the reverse order
