| Danger of actuating fire extinguishing system when the work sequence is not observed. | |||
| 1 | Remove fuse 6 from fuse box I, rear right wheelhouse. | ||
| Fuse and relay box, as-built configuration | GF54.15-P-0800SXS | ||
| 2 | Detach electrical connector (2) and expose electrical wiring harness (1) | ||
| 3 | Fasten suitable cable or wire to plug on electrical wiring harness (1). | ||
| Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. | AS00.00-Z-0010-01A | |
| 4 | Raise vehicle | ||
| 5 | Remove front section of left fender liner | ||
| 6 | Pull out electrical wiring harness (1) downward. Loosen previously attached cable or wire from plug on electrical wiring harness (1) and allow to hang down into engine compartment. | ||
| 7 | Remove engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Perform self-test for fire extinguishing system | AR86.10-P-0101-01SXS |
