	Remove/install
1	Remove transmission with torque converter		AR27.10-P-0500SX
2	Remove integrated starter alternator		AR15.40-P-0003SXH
3	Remove bolts (1) for end cover (5) from engine oil pan (3)		*BA01.40-P-1004-01G
4	Remove bolts (2) for end cover (5) from cylinder crankcase (4)		*BA01.40-P-1004-01G
5	Pry off end cover (5) with crankshaft radial sealing ring (6) from crankcase (4)	Do not  hit tool for prying off between end cover (5) and crankcase (4); the sealing surface will be damaged. Fit tool for prying off onto side recess clearances of end cover (5). If required heat up sealant with hot air gun.
		Replace rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (6) after installation of the end cover (5).	AR03.20-P-3063SXH
6	Remove end cover (5) and push out rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (6) from end cover (5)	Apply sealant in the form of a bead (A) with a height and width of 2.0 mm (±0.5) mm to crankcase (4) and engine oil pan (3). Use exclusively approved sealants. Do not spread bead. Mount end cover (5) within 5 minutes after applying sealant.

	Clean
7	Clean sealing surfaces for end cover (5)	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

		Cleaning spray, Loctite 7063 (150ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Check engine oil level; correct if necessary
	Engine oil change and filter change		AP18.00-P-0101SX
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Carry out an engine test run and check engine for leaks
