2	Unfasten wheel bolts and wheels using wheel lift	Note modified wheel bolts for "17 inch" forged wheel (long wheel bolt).

3	Check tires for signs of damage and make sure that they are in good condition		AP40.10-P-4051Z
4	Clean and check wheel bolt connection components, then protect against corrosion		AP40.10-P-4050-01A
		Before mounting a wheel-and-tire assembly all  the operation steps listed in the linked description must be conducted carefully. The complete wheel can otherwise work its way loose from the vehicle.

	Install
5	Change round wheel-and-tire assemblies on front and rear axles	If necessary, subject to separate repair order and only for vehicles without mixed tires. Maintain running direction of wheel-and-tire assemblies. Otherwise handling characteristics and handling comfort may be impaired and tire wear increased.
6	Mount wheels using wheel lift and tighten wheel bolts	Observe the tightening sequence (1 to 5) and tightening torque. Note modified wheel bolts for "17 inch" forged wheel (long wheel bolt).
