REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between four pillars of hoist and position four support plates at hoist mounting points specified by vehicle manufacturer.
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift
2 Remove rear wheel
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Remove/install wheels
3 Remove twelve-point collar nut (12) from rear axle shaft (37)   AR35.30-P-0115-01A
TORQUE SPECIFICATION
4 Detach brake caliper from wheel carrier (7) NOTES Attach brake caliper to vehicle without tension to relieve brake hose so that it is not damaged during repair.
IMPORTANT The brake hose is not removed from the brake caliper during repair work.

5 Detach rear brake cable (112a) from automatic cable slack adjuster of parking brake See: ↓
