	Remove
	Center head restraint (1)
1	Assemble center head restraint (1)
2	Unclip coverings (2)		Figure
3	Press left and right release lever (3) down with a suitable screwdriver and pull center head restraint (1) out of head restraint mechanism (4)	The release levers (3) are located on the outer sides of the center head restraint (1).

5	Lower left or right outer head restraint (5)
6	Remove left or right rear seat backrest		AR91.12-P-1620SX
7	Detach sound deadening mat (6)
8	Lift Bowden cable nipple (7) using a suitable screwdriver (8) while simultaneously fully assembling outer head restraint (5)	While assembling the outer head restraint (5), lift Bowden cable nipple (7) until it comes out of the rear shelf.
9	Release left and right release spring (9) on left rear head restraint inclination adjustment motor (M18/15) or right rear head restraint inclination adjustment motor (M18/16) using a small flat tip screwdriver (10) and pull out and remove outer head restraint (5)	The release springs (9) can be accessed through openings underneath the coverings (2).

	Outer head restraint (5)
10	Clip in coverings (2)
11	Insert outer head restraint (5), insert Bowden cable nipple (7) into rear shelf and simultaneously lower outer head restraint (5) fully	The outer head restraint (5) must latch audibly on both sides and the Bowden cable nipple (7) must be visible in the rear wall (11) after lowering the outer head restraint (5).
12	Fasten sound deadening mat (6)
13	Install left or right rear seat backrest		AR91.12-P-1620SX
	Center head restraint (1)
14	Insert center head restraint (1) into head restraint mechanism (4)	The center head restraint (1) must latch audibly on both sides.
15	Clip in coverings (2)
