	Risk of explosion  caused by welding and soldering work on refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Never perform welding work on or near refrigerator box or compressor. No smoking or open flames. 	Draining
1	Remove left side paneling in trunk		AR68.30-P-4600SXS
2	Unscrew cap from filler connection (8)
3	Insert sealing ring (10) into adapter (9) and screw onto filling connection (8)	Hold filler connection (8) when screwing on adapter (9). Otherwise the refrigerator box refrigerant compressor (A9/4) can be damaged. The adapter (9) is available as replacement part with sealing ring (10) and new cap. The adapter (9) remains on the filling connection (8) after filling the refrigerator box and is not unscrewed again.
4	Connect glass piston (6) between charging equipment and refrigerator circuit of refrigerator box	The glass piston (6) is a commercially available air conditioning diagnostic tool from the Forch company.
5	Connect charging equipment to adapter (9) and evacuate refrigerator box refrigerant circuit (recycle)	Use short shutoff valve (11). See unit manufacturer's operator's manual.
6	Lay glass piston (6) down on suitable scale (5)	The scale (5) should be in the vehicle. Otherwise the measurement results can be faulty. Use a scale (5) with a precision of 1 g.
	Evacuate
7	Evacuate refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box with charging equipment
