	Remove/install
1.1	Open paneling on tilting/sliding roof	On vehicles with code (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
1.2	Open roller sun blind (2).	On model 221.1 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof
2	Remove both sun visors (3) with counterbearing.
3	Remove overhead control panel control unit		AR82.20-P-1000SX
4	Remove inside rearview mirror unit (A67)
5	Remove bracket (4) for inside rearview mirror (A67) from roof
6	Remove bolt (5)	On model 221.1 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof
7	Remove cover (6) for rain/light sensor (B38/2)
8	Disconnect electrical connector (7) from rain/light sensor (B38/2)
9	Remove left and right A-pillar paneling (8)
10	Remove all handles (9) from roof
11	Remove both coat hanger hooks (10).
12	Remove left and right paneling from C-pillar at top.		AR68.30-P-4490SX
13	Expose electric wiring harness (11) on roof paneling (1) and disconnect
14.1	Loosen roof paneling (1) from sliding roof frame	On vehicles with code (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
14.2	Loosen roof paneling (1) from panoramic roof frame	On model 221.1 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof Remove retaining clips from rear panoramic roof and install on roof paneling (1).
15	Remove center console	On model 221.0 up to 31.5.09 except code (800) Model year 2010	AR68.20-P-2000SX
15	Remove center console	On model 221 as of 1.6.09 or with code (800) Model year 2010	AR68.20-P-2000SXH
16.1	Remove upper paneling from right B-pillar.	On model 221.0 Do not remove seat belt guide bracket.	AR68.30-P-4700SX
16.2	Remove upper and lower paneling from left B-pillar.	With model 221.1 Do not remove seat belt guide bracket.	AR68.30-P-4700SX
17	Switch on ignition, move front seats toward rear, downward and adjust backrests to laying position.	After adjusting front seats, switch ignition back on.
18	Loosen all edge guards (12) in area of roof paneling (1).	When loosening edge guards (12), aid of helper is required to support the roof paneling (1).
19.1	Loosen roof paneling (1) from roof and move out through right front door with aid of helper.	On model 221.0 Carefully remove roof paneling (1) to prevent damaging the interior equipment.
19.2	Loosen roof paneling (1) from roof and guide out through left rear door with aid of helper.	With model 221.1 Carefully remove roof paneling (1) to prevent damaging the interior equipment.
20	Prepare roof paneling (1) for installation	When replacing roof paneling (1).	AR68.30-P-4305SX
21	Install in the reverse order
