	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Completely move crank window in front door (1) downward
2	Switch off ignition and withdraw transmitter key or Keyless Go start/stop button from the EZS control unit	Keyless Go start/stop button only for vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go.
3	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003SX
4	Unclip cover (2) from door lining (3)		Figure
5	Disconnect electrical connectors (4)
6	Disconnect electrical connector (5) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2)
7	Unclip protective hose (6) from front door (1).		Figure
8	Pull electric wiring harness (7) out of front door (1).
9	Unclip door holder (8) from A-pillar mount with suitable screwdriver.	Carefully unclip door holder (8); if necessary, use rag to protect against paint damage.
10	Remove caps (9) and unscrew bolts below		*BA72.10-P-1003-01Q
11	Remove front door (1) from door hinges with aid of helper and lay down on suitable subsurface	Carefully remove front door (1). Danger of damaging paint on front door (1) and front fender.
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Check adjustment of front door (1), correct if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550SX
