	Remove/install
1	Remove inner door panel (2) from left or right front door		AR72.10-P-0104SXS
2	Remove door lock armor plate (3)	Cut through butyl cord on rear of door lock armor plate (3) with suitable blade. Check butyl cord on rear of door lock armor plate (3) for damage, replace if necessary. If sections of the butyl cord are damaged, replace only the damaged section. Clean surface to be glued. Coat rear screws with sealant.

3	Loosen adjusting nuts (4), remove Bowden cable (5) from bracket (6) and unhook from door lock (1)	Check clearance (A) and, if necessary, adjust with adjusting nuts (4) on Bowden cable (5). For this purpose, pull outer door handle (12) until resistance is felt and measure clearance (A) between outer door handle guide (13) and outer door handle (12).

4	Pull off window guide seal (7) on rear window guide rail (8) until screws (9, 10) are accessible	Glue in window guide seal (7) into window guide rail (8).

5	Remove bolts (9, 10) and remove window guide rail (8)	Completely remove adhesive residues from window guide rail (8) and clean adhesive area.

6	Remove bolts (11) and remove door lock (1)		*BA72.10-P-1017-01R
7	Install in the reverse order
