Retrofitting is identical to version without telephone, Tele Aid, VCS or optional CTEL.

	Notes on fiber optic	Models 129, 168, 170, 202, 208, 210, 220.
	Removal
1	Disconnect ground cable of battery
2	Remove rear passenger compartment floor covering	Only remove far enough to allow floor covering to be lifted at driver's side, making cable ducts accessible.
3	Open left wiring duct
4.1	Remove rear backrest
4.2	Remove rear backrest	with single seats (code 401)
5.1	Remove seat adjustment device	with bucket seats (code 401), left side only
6	Remove coverings in trunk	Left paneling and on rear wall
7	Remove rear wall in trunk
	Install
8	Install optical waveguide module	For extension of optical waveguide ring.
			AR82.70-P-0004-01A
9	Retrofit CD changer wiring harness		AZ82.64-P-0001-01IB
	Cover optical waveguide	Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic.  Install covers on fibre-optic coupling and equipment connector.	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
10	Retrofit CD changer in trunk		AZ82.64-P-0001-05IA
11	Installation proceeds in reverse order	Steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
12	Perform startup and function check	Perform version coding (CD changer) with STAR DIAGNOSIS
13	Enable radio
14	when scope of equipment changes reenter code or designation of corresponding special equipment on vehicle card
