Check panic alarm system - AP82.25-P-8290SX

	Checking
1	Remove ignition key from ignition lock and store outside the vehicle	Never keep ignition key in the vehicle.  Otherwise it may not be possible to enter the passenger compartment when testing!
2	Getting in and closing doors as well as side windows	Do not lock doors. Close side windows in order to avoid feedback and whistling noises when checking the intercom system.
	Check emergency alarm system
3	Press activate button for left knee bolster emergency alarm system (S62/16)	The emergency alarm system must trigger. Check whether: All doors and trunk lid lock, "Yelp" signal sounds via outside speaker (H10), Hazard warning system switched on, Switch high beams and front fog lamps to interval, Intercom system switched on.
4	Take inside microphone (B25/3) out of bracket in the glove compartment and press cancel button (A)	The emergency alarm system must switch off.
	Check activate buttons
5	Press activate button for emergency alarm system, right knee guard (S62/17)	Afterwards repeat procedure 4.
6	Activate button for emergency alarm system, rear fresh air vent (S62/18)	Afterwards repeat procedure 4.
7	Deactivate emergency locking	For this purpose unlock the central locking by operating the CL left inside door handle (S85/5).
	Check intercom system
8	Check intercom system	Check the intercom system with the aid of an assistant, from the inside outwards and from the outside inwards: Left, right outside mirror microphone (B25/4, B25/5), Inside microphone (B25/3) Outside speaker (H10) Inside speaker (H10/1) Afterwards insert the inside microphone (B25/3) correctly in the bracket in the glove compartment.
9	Operate central locking	Upon completion of all tests lock and unlock the central locking by pressing the locking and release button on the ignition key.
