Remove/install rain/light sensor - AR82.30-P-7800SXS

	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles		AH67.00-P-0003-01FB
	The rain sensor function of the rain/light sensor (B38/2) is deactivated
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit
2	Unclip cover of rain/light sensor (B38/2)
3	Raise lugs (1) on both sides on the rain/light sensor (B38/2) and remove the rain/light sensor (B38/2)	Carefully raise the lugs (1) using a screwdriver as otherwise the lugs (1) may break off.
4	Disconnect electrical connector (2)	Disconnect electrical connector (2) with care, since it can otherwise become damaged.
5	Remove rain/light sensor (B38/2)	The lens of the rain/light sensor (B38/2) is bonded to the windshield and must not be removed as otherwise the lens may be damaged.
6	Install in the reverse order
7.1	Code the adaptation of the light sensor amplification factor and select the type of windshield	If replacing the rain/light sensor (B38/2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
