| 1 | Move the front passenger seat into the rearmost position | ||
| 2 | Remove floor mat and fold back floor covering (1) in the front passenger footwell | ||
| 3 | Unscrew plastic nuts (3) and fold down step plate (4) in the direction of the arrow | ||
| 4 | Carry out control unit adaptations using STAR DIAGNOSIS | When replacing the ABC control unit (N51/2) | |
| STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew bolts (2) and remove ABC control unit (N51/2) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 8 | Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary. | STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A |
