Replace rear crankshaft radial sealing ring - AR03.20-P-3063SXH

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove integrated starter alternator   AR15.40-P-0003SXH
2 Push out crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) using a suitable tool from the mounting hole in the end cover (2) NOTES Do not damage crankshaft (3) and mounting hole in the end cover (2). Use a clean rag as a base while pressing out; otherwise there can be leakage.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Mount installation tool basic carrier on the crankshaft (3) and push in crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) using the installation tool at the same time.

INSPECT Checking     
3 Check crankshaft radial sealing ring contact surface (1) on crankshaft (3) IMPORTANT If there are score marks and galling on the crankshaft (3) the position of the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) must be altered for installation through use of part 3 from the installation tool.  
4 Install in the reverse order    
5 Check engine oil level; correct if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Engine oil change and filter change   AP18.00-P-0101SX
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

6 Carry out an engine test run and check engine for leaks
