	Remove/install
1	Remove transmission with torque converter	Model 216 except 216.39 Model 221 except 221.08/094/18/194	AR27.10-P-0500SX
1	Remove transmission with torque converter	Model 221.08/18 Model 216.39 Model 221.094/194	AR27.10-P-0500SYZ
2	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear		AR03.30-P-5000SX
3	Remove bolts (1a) from drive plate (1)	Do not use an impact wrench/driver or compressed air tool in order to unscrew and screw in the bolts (1), otherwise the threads in the crankshaft will be damaged. Replace bolts (1a).	AR03.30-P-8001-02MM
3	Remove bolts (1a) from drive plate (1)		*BA03.30-P-1002-01M
4	Remove drive plate (1) from crankshaft flange	The cylinder pin (2) determines the installation location of drive plate (1).
	Checking
5	Check threaded union (3) in the drive plate (1)	In case of damaged or loose threaded unions (3), drive plate (1) must be replaced.
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Carry out first initialization and then sensor rotor adaptation using STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing Menu guidance: Engine control module Adaptations Learning processes	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
