1	Remove ashtray in rear	On vehicles with code (301) Ashtray package/smoker package The ashtray in the rear is no longer required.
2	Remove air vent in rear and place to one side with electrical connectors connected.

3	Fabricate rear entertainment system template		AN82.60-P-0013-03CY
4	Retrofit left rear display (A40/5) and right rear display (A40/6)		AN82.60-P-0013-02CY
5	Install DVD player (A40/4)		AN82.60-P-0013-01CY
		Rechargeable screwdriver, rechargeable drill
6	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
7	Enter special equipment on the vehicle data card and the online vehicle data card	Enter code (864) Rear entertainment system and delete code (866) Rear entertainment preinstallation.
8	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Under the menu items Audio/COMAND controller Adaptations Control unit programming.
9	Perform country code with Diagnosis Assistance System	Under the menu item Rear audio/video unit/left and right display. The country code is to be entered.
10	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach note "Rear entertainment retrofitted as per AN82.60-P-0013CY " under field organization texts to design group 82.
11	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
12	Insert DVD into DVD player (A40/4) and check operation of rear entertainment system using remote control included in package contents
