	Remove/install
1	Remove COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with single DVD drive (with navigation)
			AR82.60-P-7502CY
		Install new COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer
2	Install in the reverse order
3	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
4	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via vehicle documentation system (VeDoc)	Delete:  Code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) Add:  Code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer
5	Document retrofitted equipment through VeDoc	Attach "COMAND APS with DVD changer retrofitted, as per AN82.85-P-0004CYC " note under the field organization texts to design group 82.
6	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Listed control unit must be SCN coded with the Diagnosis Assistance System: "COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer"
7	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
8	Perform function test	See operator's manual for COMAND controller unit (A40/3) incl. DVD changer.
