360° Camera Control Unit, Component Description - GF54.65-P-5003CE
MODEL 204.9 with CODE (501) 360-degree camera as of model year 2013/model refinement package 12
Location
Installation location unknown; to be updated
Task
The 360° camera control unit has the following tasks:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
- Output of signals
Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Low voltage differential signal
- Front end CAN (CAN G)
Low voltage differential signal
The signals from the following components are read via a direct line:
- Left outside mirror 360° camera (B84/7)
- Right outside mirror 360° camera (B84/8)
- Front 360° camera (B84/9)
- Rear 360° camera (B84/10)
Front end CAN
The signals for activating the system and for calculating the display in the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) are read in by the 360° camera control unit via the front end CAN.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
Components are actuated with the following connection:
- Front end CAN
Front end CAN
The signals for activating the Audio/COMAND display are sent by the 360° camera control unit via the front end CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Output of signals
The 360° camera control unit sends the image data via an analog video interface to the COMAND controller unit (A40/3).
