Check lamps in instrument cluster and interior illumination - AP54.30-P-5453GA

INSPECT Check   
1 Switch on ignition and check preglow indicator lamp (4) If installed.
IMPORTANT The preglow indicator lamp (4) must light up to match the coolant temperature and then go out.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
2 Check warning lamp tire pressure monitor (8) If installed.
IMPORTANT The tire pressure monitor warning lamp (8) must light up.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
3 Check LIM function indicator lamp (11) If installed.
IMPORTANT The LIM function indicator lamp (11) must light up.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
4 Check regenerative braking system indicator lamp (12) If installed.
IMPORTANT The regenerative braking system indicator lamp (12) must light up.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
5 Check fuel level and reserve indicator (6) IMPORTANT The pointer of the fuel level and reserve indicator (6) must indicate the corresponding fuel level in the fuel tank.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
6 Manually switch on the exterior lights  
7 Check instrument illumination IMPORTANT All pointer instruments (5, 6, 9, 10, 13) must be illuminated and the background illumination for the existing displays (7) must be activated.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
8 Operate dim and bright instrument and controls illumination buttons (1, 3) alternately IMPORTANT The instrument illumination must then turn dimmer or brighter to match the button used. If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
9 Check displays (7) for visible pixel errors If the existing displays (7) exhibit vertical strips, missing segments or black dots:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
10 Manually switch off exterior lights  
11 Switch on lamps in passenger compartment and check for proper operation IMPORTANT Check inside rearview mirror, reading, mirror and glove compartment lamps.
If there are problems:
↓
Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
12 Switch off lamps in passenger compartment and ignition
