Remove/install left front or right RPM sensor - AR42.30-P-0712GZ

MODEL 164, 166

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects. Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Switch off ignition    
2 Lift vehicle on vehicle lift.   AR00.60-P-1000GZ
3.1 Remove fender liner front section in front fender Model 164 AR88.10-P-1310GZ
3.2 Detach fender liner front section in front fender in the area of the electrical connectors (3) Model 166 AR88.10-P-1310GQ
4 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3)    
5 Disconnect electrical connectors (3) (arrows B)    
6 Remove line (2) from all brackets (arrows A) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the line (2) is correctly routed. Route the line (2) so there is no crossover.  
7 Remove bolt (1) and pull left front RPM sensor (L6/1) or right front RPM sensor (L6/2) out of steering knuckle INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace bolt (1).  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA42.30-P-1001-01G 
8 Install in the reverse order    
9 Clear fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
