Remove/install spare tire well panel - AR68.30-P-4620GZ

MODEL 164 (except 164.195)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open liftgate    
2 Open luggage compartment cover IMPORTANT Only on vehicles with code (723) Luggage compartment cover.  
3 Open load compartment floor and secure    
4 Remove spare tire IMPORTANT Only on vehicles with code (669) Spare wheel on steel rim.  
5 Remove vehicle tool kit shaped part (2) upward INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Observe installation position.  
6 Remove rear door sill molding   AR68.30-P-4100GZA 
7 Remove clips from outer edges on spare tire recess paneling (1). IMPORTANT If present.  
8 Pull outer edges of spare tire recess paneling (1) toward inside (arrows) NOTES Do not kink spare tire recess paneling (1), danger of breakage!
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that outer edges of spare tire recess paneling (1) are seated correctly.
 
9 Install in the reverse order
