	Remove
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Unscrew bolts (1) and bolt (2)
3	Lower paneling
4	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from interior socket (X58/1)
5	Disconnect electrical connectors from cockpit voltage distributor (CAN) connector (X30/6)	Number of CAN connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.
6	Disconnect electrical connector (4) from right front footwell lamp (E17/15)
7	Remove air ducting (5) from mount.	Lay air ducting (5) down in footwell. Do not disconnect electrical connector.
8	Remove paneling
	Install
9	Install air ducting (5) on paneling
10	Connect electrical connector (3) to interior socket (X58/1)
11	Connect electrical connectors to cockpit electrical distributor connector (CAN) (X30/6)
12	Connect electrical connector (4) to right front footwell lamp (E17/15)
13	Install paneling	Ensure that air ducting (5) is installed correctly.
14	Screw in bolts (1) and bolt (2).
