	Remove/install
1	Detach spare wheel (1) from spare wheel carrier (2)	See Operator's Manual
2	Remove paneling from right rear pillar	Only model 461.238/239/332/334/335/336/337/338/450	AR68.30-P-4505GL
3	Detach spare wheel carrier (2) from rear panel	To do so undo inner bolts (4) on rear pillar. Installation:  Apply sealing compound.
		Sealant	*BR00.45-Z-1004-01A
4	Remove retainer on gas-operated strut (3)
	Risk of injury  caused by drilling gas-filled assemblies or components (noncombustible gases)	Wear safety glasses and a face mask.	AS00.00-Z-0006-01A
5	Remove gas-operated strut (3)	When replacing the gas-operated strut (3) the old gas-operated strut (3) must be drained and disposed of:↓
		Degas gas-operated strut and drain.	OS00.00-P-1001-01A
6	Remove rear bumper	Model 461.229/238/239/249/326/328/335/336/337/338/341/403/404/450/452	AR88.20-P-2200C

		Model 461.343/345/346	AR88.20-P-2200GX
7	Detach spare wheel carrier (2) at bottom	Remove bolts (5)
8	Remove spare tire mount (2)
9	Install in the reverse order
