	Remove/Install
	Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
2	Remove rear wheels
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050G
3	Support rear axle
4	Unscrew nut (2).	Remove bolt.

5	Unscrew nut (3).		*BA32.25-P-1002-03E

6	Remove shock absorber (1).	Installation  : Observe correct sequence of sheet metal washers (5), centering disk (6), rubber bushings (4) and spacer sleeve (7). With model 461.331, centering disk (6) is welded to shock absorber bracket and is not required when installing new shock absorber (1).
7	Install in the reverse order
