Commissioning
After a new APS navigation processor (A2/30) has been installed, the system has to be coded. Coding is carried out with the Hand-Held Tester (HHT). When commissioning, the following base settings have to be carried out.
Version coding vehicle data
- Vehicle model
- Condition of tires (new or used tires)
Version coding components
- CD changer
- Bose Sound System
Position
The position is entered at the APS radio and navigation operating unit (A2/29) or automatically by GPS positioning (takes 2 up to a max. of 20 minutes).
The APS cannot be used until commissioning has been completed.
