	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1.1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit	MODEL 218 as of model year 2015 without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
1.2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	MODEL 218 as of model year 2015 with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
2	Fold covers (1) on rear of Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) forwards
3	Unscrew screw/bolt (2) far enough for the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) to be removed	Screws/bolts (2) remain on the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
4	Pull Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) far enough out of instrument panel for electrical connectors (3, 4) to be accessed	Handle the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) carefully. Otherwise, there is a risk that the electrical connectors (3, 4) and the screen surface may become damaged.
5	Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4) and remove Audio/COMAND display (A40/8)
6	Install in the reverse order
