Remove/install Parktronic system (PTS) control unit - AR54.65-P-0006CW

MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218 with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC) 

MODEL 207, 212 with CODE 230 (Advanced Parking Guidance) 

MODEL 218 with CODE 235 (Active Parking Assist)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform initial startup of parking system control unit (N62) When replacing parking system control unit (N62).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2.1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218
with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC)
without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
MODEL 207, 212
with CODE 230 (Advanced Parking Guidance)
without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
MODEL 218
with CODE 235 (Active Parking Assist)
without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
 
2.2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218
with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC)
with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
MODEL 207, 212
with CODE 230 (Advanced Parking Guidance)
with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
MODEL 218
with CODE 235 (Active Parking Assist)
with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
 
3 Fold back floor covering (1) in passenger footwell    
4 Remove footrest damping material (2) MODEL 204.0/2/3
with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC)
 
5 Detach footrest (3) and fold back    
6 Remove bolts (4)    
7 Disconnect electrical connectors (5)    
8 Detach parking system control unit (N62) from footrest (3)    
9 Install in the reverse order
