Remove/install yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensor - AR42.45-P-0841EW

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove passenger seat	Only loosen the rear bolts at the front passenger seat and fold back the front passenger seat.	AR91.10-P-1000CW
2	Lift floor covering (1) under front passenger seat	Do not damage the floor covering (1) when lifting up.
3	Unscrew nuts (2) and remove yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15)	Handle the yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15) with care. It is sensitive to shocks.

4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) on yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15)
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
7	Carry out road test as per STAR DIAGNOSIS	After the yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15) has been replaced. Under "control units" - "suspension" - "ABR" - "control unit adaptations" select the menu item "road test" and process all steps.
8	Perform initialization of DTR control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS	After the yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15) has been replaced on vehicles with code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS.
