1. Check temperature of rear axle differential.

   Only check and correct oil level in rear axle differential if rear axle differential is at room temperature.

   Required oil may run out at a higher temperature, while at a lower temperature overfilling can occur. Both can cause damage to the rear axle differential.

   If the rear axle differential is not at room temperature:

   ↓

   Wait until the rear axle differential has cooled down or warmed up to room temperature.

   ↓

   Top up oil to the lower edge of the threaded hole.

2. Clean area around the filling screw (50g).
3. Unscrew filling screw (50g) and allow any oil which may escape to drain into a suitable container.
4. Check oil level in rear axle differential.

   The oil must reach the lower edge of the threaded hole.

   If the oil does not reach the lower edge of the threaded hole:

5. Clean new filling screw (50g) and threaded hole in rear axle differential using cleaning spray and lint-free rag.

   The filling screw (50g) and threaded hole must be free of oil and grease.

6. Apply one drop of Apply sealant to the second lower flank on the new filling screw (50g).
7. Screw the new filling screw (50g) immediately into the rear axle differential and tighten.
