Task
The trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit (N28/1) is a participant of the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B) and is responsible for the following tasks:
- Evaluation of the incoming CAN-B bus signals
- Unlocking/locking and monitoring of ball neck of trailer hitch (AHV)
- Detection of connected trailer
- Actuation and monitoring of trailer lighting system
