Stop lamp switch. location/task/function - GF42.10-P-4000A

Stop lamp switch, task The brake light switch (S9/1) transmits the signal about the actuation of the brake pedal to the brake lights and in addition sends a signal for brake actuation to different electronic systems (e.g. BAS, ETS, ASR, ESP, TPM, ERE, EVE, CDI, ME).  
Stop lamp switch, function The method of operation of the brake light switch (S9/1) manifests itself in two ways: Function as normally open contact (2) for the brake lights and function as opener (1) for control units.
