	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition
2	Remove front wheel
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
3	Separate electrical connector (1) from the rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) and expose feed line	See "Disconnect/connect front axle electrical distributor connector".	AR33.10-P-0100-06SX
4	Slacken bolt (5a)	Model 221 with code Z07, top protection.
			*BA42.10-P-1011-04K
5	Remove bolt (2)	Installation:  Mount bracket (3) with rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2).
			*BA42.30-P-1001-01J
6	Remove bolt (5a) and remove T-piece (5) from bracket (3)	Model 221 with code Z07, top protection. Installation:  Screw down the bolt (5a) until finger-tight and do not tighten until the bolt (2) has been installed, otherwise the brake lines (6) could be damaged as a result of deformation!
7	Pull rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) out of steering knuckle (4)
	Clean
8	Clean the mounting hole of rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2) in steering knuckle (4)
9	Clean the rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2)	When reusing the rpm sensor (L6/1, L6/2)
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Read out fault memory and erase if necessary
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
