Remove/install BAS diaphragm travel sensor - AR42.31-P-6002SX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install   
1 Operate the brake pedal several times when the engine is switched off IMPORTANT Until the vacuum in the brake booster (A7/7) is reduced
2 Detach vacuum line (1) from brake booster (A7/7) and place to one side NOTES Seal the vacuum line (1) and the connection on the brake booster (A7/7) in order to prevent the ingress of foreign objects.
SPECIAL TOOL
3 Disconnect connector (A7/7x1)  
4 Pry circlip (2) out of groove (arrow) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Note correct seating of circlip (2).
5 Pull out diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1).  
6 Check O-ring (3) on diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) and replace if necessary  
7 Install in the reverse order
