Retrofit video jack wiring harness - AZ82.60-P-0022-01SC
- Drill hole (14) for video AUX jack (12) with diameter of 5.5 mm in glove box (8) as per dimensions.
- Route yellow line (ge) and black line (sw) of video AUX jack wiring harness (13) from inside of glove box (8) through hole (14) as per picture and insert video AUX jack (12) into hole (14).
- Attach video AUX jack wiring harness (13) with cable tie at housing of audio AUX jack (2) as per picture (see arrow in enlarged detail at left).
Attach video AUX jack wiring harness (13) at housing of audio AUX jack (2) in such a way that housing of video AUX jack (12) lies firmly against inside of glove box (8) (see enlarged detail at right) and video AUX jack (12) cannot be drawn into glove box (8).
- Fix video AUX jack (13) in place at audio AUX jack wiring harness (1) using line fabric tape as per picture.
- Position glove compartment (8) in front passenger footwell.
- Route video AUX jack wiring harness (13) in radio recess as per picture.
- Disconnect black 22-pin coupling (5) of COMMAND controller unit (A40/3).
- Unlock lock (see arrow) on side of coupling (5) and pull black 20-pin contact carrier (6) of vehicle's own wiring harness (4) from coupling (5).
- Insert black line (sw) of video AUX jack wiring harness (13) in contact cavity 18 of black 20-pin contact carrier (6).
- Insert yellow line (ge) of video AUX jack wiring harness (13) into contact cavity 8 of black 20-pin contact carrier (6).
- Install 20-pin contact carrier (6) into black, 22-pin coupling and connect black, 22-pin coupling to COMMAND controller unit.
- Fix video AUX jack wiring harness (13) in position at on-board wiring harnesses free of chafing and noise.
