	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Attach engine hoist to engine lifting eyes
2	Remove tensioning strap for engine-transmission unit
3	Secure front axle carrier on portable lifting platform with tensioning strap against slipping and falling down
4	Lift engine with a suitable lifting device and engine hoist	Only raise far enough for chain on engine hoist to be lightly tensioned.
5	Remove bolt (1) of the retaining clamp (1a) from rack-and-pinion steering (4)	Model 216	*BA46.30-P-1012-01Q

6	Remove bolt (2) and remove high pressure expansion hose (3)	Replace seals.

8	Lift off engine/transmission unit from front axle carrier	Ensure when lifting that engine oil pan is not damaged. Ensure that engine mount (5a) is seated correctly in catches on the front axle carrier.
9	Install in the reverse order
