MODEL 221.0/1, 216.3 up to Model Year 8
Function
The washer nozzle heater and the washer nozzle hose heater are automatically switched on if:
- Circuit 61 ON (engine running)
- An outside air temperature of less than 5 °C is detected.
Switching-off occurs automatically when:
- Term. 61 OFF (motor OFF)
- An outside air temperature of greater than 8 °C is detected.
Actuation of heating elements
The washer nozzle heater and the washer nozzle hose heater are actuated by the front SAM control unit.
